I was babysitting my two year old cousin Cake and she insisted we watch this. I was appalled her parents let he watch this! I was offended by the graphic sex talk, sexual innuendo, graphic scenes and of course the disgusting “Mr. Noodle”. But since this movie is full of colourful design and cute little characters, it was somehow rated TV-Y. What is society coming to? I think I saw my five year old cousin Fawn watch “Last Tango in Paris” a couple weeks ago. It’s sickening! Avoid this disgusting film, for the sake of the children!

I ordered this a month ago and still have not received the item. So I would say this is a horrible vendor.

I was disappointed to find out about this popular character made by Sesame Street is barely educational, not funny (even for an 18 month child, especially for a parent), and mostly just a way to waste 50 min of my kid’s day. If that’s all you need it for then go for it, but I think there’s plenty of better stuff out there.

We rented the Sesame Street Old School volumes from Netflix. Those shows are from the early 1970s and the difference is huge! Those shows are both funny and educational. And to my surprise, faster paced! These Elmo shows have little visual charm as they are mostly cheap computer graphics. They go on and on about redundant topics, like eating bananas, for about 15 minutes. The old Sesame Street teaches much more valuable lessons quicker and more enjoyably than Elmo in these shows.

Oh, and the character Mr. Noodle is actually offensive to me. If you don’t know he is the bumbling idiot adult whom the kids can tell what to do when he tries to, for example, put on a jacket.

My son loves Elmo, his favorite is Kid’s Favorite Songs 2. I thought by getting the 3pk of DVDs it would be MORE, but no it’s NOT. It’s just three different themes w/ the same pattern & format as the other 2 ( in the pack). Talk, sing a song, show somes pictures. Kid’s I would think like variety, not repetition. The movies lose my son’s attention. I find him wandering off somewhere. (He is 18 months). Sure he picks up new words here & there, but I expected way more. DISAPPOINTED. But I highly recommenD Kids Favorite Songs 2, I love it,my husband loves it, & my son, we all sing together. Get it ASAP. My son sings, laughs, points, dances, & IT KEEPS HIS ATTENTION!!!
